Erys

This is Erys. The style of the work is more of a departure for me. The more I give talks and do storytelling about the Good Folk, the more I find my vision of them changes. They can often appear to us as human-like, when they step from the Veil, but there is always something sort of off. They have the wrong sorts of feet, their proportions are slightly different, they maybe always dripping water. So Erys here does not exactly have human proportions. i have exaggerated \"tall\" in her. And her teeny feet have claws! I also explored some ways to really strengthen polymer clay, it\'s general fragility has always bothered me. So Erys has an epoxy underarmature and resin tipped toes and fingers. While this will not prevent breakage in a fall or an impact, it certainly seems to have at least tripled the strength of the piece.
