Artist's Comments

I have yet to give her an official name yet. Nothing really fits for her just yet. This was another doll that barely escaped the rubbish heap. I got a crappy batch of clay that got little white moonies due to it having a lot of trapped air throughout that I could not see. I carved them all out (hundreds of them argh) and sculpted back over parts of her, but the clay colors were slightly different. And Dalton knocked her original base onto the floor and broke it beyond repair. Disaster! So she has sat for months handless and rejected. I love her face so I thought why not try to salvage her. So she has ended up with tribal paint and a new base. I sort of like her now, happily she is safe from the rubbish heap!

A new masterpiece Molly:) She looks very elegant and sparkly plus those wings are gorgeus. Your fairies are so pretty. They seem so alive. Like they could start flying at any moment
