This is a necklace I sculpted as a commission from a dear friend. He wanted the spirits of horse, dragon, and butterfly represented. The interesting thing is that there all 3 creatures can be found within the stone if you look. The cab is calico lace jasper and the chain is glass, fossilized coral, charoite, pearl, sunstone, and honey jasper. The critters are polymer clay

Thank you. Sculpey is a medium quality polymer clay, so yes they are similar

Glad you like them :) The costs depend partly on the expense of the stones, in this case quite pricy, and the the time it takes me. This particular piece was $185, some of the others here, like the blue dragon around the quartz were in the 85-100 range. Have a glorious day!
